Hi all,

Good news from Colin Ramsden - the green is now open for play from today, Sunday 21st April from 2pm.

Please note: play is restricted to afternoons only from 2pm until 1st May and please remember from then on NO play is permitted before 10:30am on Mondays, Wednesdays and Fridays to allow for green maintenance work to be completed.

Whilst we have enjoyed a few dry, sunny days the green will still be soft so please remember to move the mat a few feet each time as it can still be easily damaged and the area in front of the mat suffers bruising from badly delivered bowls and the area behind suffers from heavy footfall.

Also the use of pushers is NOT permitted until further notice.

Captains please remind players of this before the match.

There is a notice reminding players of the green opening times and use of pushers on the door of the bowls store.

Thank you and happy bowling!

If anyone intends to go to the club this afternoon please remove the green closure notice from the entrance gate (it's held on by cable ties).

Kind regards,

Karen
