Long Ashton Bowling Club Raises £1,500 for Marie Curie

Long Ashton Bowling Club is proud to announce that members have raised a total of £1,500 for Marie Curie, the charity that provides vital care and support for people living with terminal illness and their families.

The impressive donation is the result of a series of fundraising events held throughout the bowling season, with club members and the local community coming together to support the cause.

The cheque was formally presented to Marie Curie by the club’s captains, Maddie Wilmott and Maurie Palmer-Givan.

“We are delighted to support such an important charity,” said the captains. “Marie Curie provides incredible care for individuals and families during some of their most challenging moments, and we’re proud that our club could contribute to their essential work.”

Marie Curie representatives expressed their gratitude to the club and its members for their generosity and ongoing commitment to community support.

Long Ashton Bowling Club extends its thanks to everyone who participated, donated, and helped make this year’s fundraising efforts such a success.
